BALCH, ROBERT (BERT) VERNON Peacefully at the age of 81 on Thursday, July 30th, 2009 at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Pre-deceased by his wife Hazel. Loving father of Matthew and his wife Joyce and Marty and his wife Alicia. Proud grandfather of Josephine, Morgan, Beatrix and Jacob. Brother of Ann (Dewitt Lister) and Vernon (Margaret). Bert will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham (4 lights north of Hwy #7) (905) 305-8508, on Wednesday, August 5th from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 6th at 11:00 am at Grace Anglican Church, 19 Parkway Ave, Markham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation.
