BUBAR, AUSTIN JAMES The death of Austin James Bubar of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, occurred Sunday, August, 2, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, with his family by his side. Austin was born March 30, 1926 at Nashwaak Bridge. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Jean Marie (Douglass) Bubar; his two sons David James Bubar and his wife Lisa, and Brian Andrew Bubar of Nashwaak Bridge; his pride and joy, his four grandchildren, Thomas, Chelsey, Lucas, and Berenger (Barry). He is Survived by three brothers-in-law, Louis (Florence) Douglass, Guy (Ethel) Douglass, and Stuart (June) Douglass and seven sisters-in-law, Eliona Young, Elizabeth (John) Smith, Verona MacNaughton, Donnalene (Brad) Flemming, Diane (George) Seely, Shirley Douglass, and Muriel Bubar, and numerous nieces and nephews. Austin was predeceased by his parents Ernest Leo Bubar and Annie Jane (Murray) Bubar; three brothers, Luther, Eugene, and Roy and two sisters, Louise Warman, and Eileen Walker. Austin lived on the family farm all his life where he was a farmer and woods worker. He also worked tying Christmas trees for a number of years. His love of hunting and fishing came second only to his love of family and little children. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. NB on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Taymouth United Church on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Frank Curtis officiating. Interment will take place at the Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery, Nashwaak Bridge, NB. For those who wish remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association, Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Palliative Care or the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
