ROBERTS, ELSIE ELAINE (ESTABROOKS) Elsie Elaine (Estabrooks) Roberts went to be with her Lord peacefully at home on August 19, 2009. Born October 5, 1915, Elsie was the daughter of the late Howard and Blanche Estabrooks. Elsie graduated from Mount Allison University in 1937 and was employed by the Department of Agriculture working with 4 H Clubs and Women's Institutes. She was an active member of Brunswick Street Baptist Church and was a member of the Harriett Clark W.M.S. for 53 years until she moved to Quispamsis in 2005. Besides her parents Elsie was predeceased by husband Arnold Roberts in 1982 and grandson Mark Elliott in June 2009. She was also predeceased by three brothers Chester (Davene), Arnold (Beulah) and Sherman Estabrooks all of Sackville, NB. She is survived by daughter Brenda Elliott of Quispamsis and son Bruce Roberts of Dartmouth, NS, together with five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and six nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from Brunswick Street Baptist Church on Sunday, August 23 at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Dr. Terry Atkinson officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. After the reception interment will take place at Fredericton Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harriett Clark W.M.S. through Brunswick Street Baptist Church.
