MCALOON, DANIEL WILFRED (DANNY) Danny McAloon of Limekiln Road, Stanley, NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on August 24th, 2009. He was born on July 7th, 1961 and was the son of Mary (Sutherland) McAloon-Jones and the late Wilfred McAloon. He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his son, Colin McAloon; daughter, Shelby McAloon; step-son, Karmen Anderson; special friend, Faye Harvey; mother, Mary McAloon Jones (Alden); sisters, Judy McAloon (Jim Canney), Janet McElman (Karl), Pam Seeley (Rod), Michelle O'Hara (Tim); brother, Brian McAloon (Marlene Ross); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, cousins, two step-brothers and one step-sister. He was predeceased by his father, Wilfred McAloon; paternal grandparents, Harry and Hilda McAloon; maternal grandparents, Janet Colford and George Sutherland. Dan loved the River, mostly the Nashwaak because that was home. The River was his most favorite place to be and canoeing and maneuvering the river was natural for him. He was very proud of his children and loved his family and close friends dearly. His quiet dry personality will be missed by them. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Stanley, NB on Thursday, August 27th, 2009 at 12 noon with Father Aaron Knox as celebrant. Pallbearers are Brady Moore, Larry Fraser, Mike McAloon, Chris Sutherland, Tony Anderson, Stephen Hersey and Chesley Boucher. Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Church Cemetery.
