BERTIN, GEORGINA GERTRUDE Georgina G. Bertin of Fredericton and formerly of Nackawic passed away August 30th, 2009 at Pine Grove, Fredericton, NB. Born at McKinnon Hill, Restigouche Co., NB in 1930, she was a daughter of the late Romeo and Margaret (St.Onge) Gendron. Georgina is survived by five daughters, Margaret Bertin, Thunder Bay, ON, Arjean Young (Blair), Saint John, Carolyn Joseph (Roger), Marathon, ON, Diane Chisamore (Craig), Burlington, ON and Kathy Trefry (Brian), Fredericton, NB; one son, Kenneth Bertin (Judy), Temperance Vale; a sister, Carmel Doucett (David), McLeod Siding, NB; a brother, Richard Gendron (Irene), Montreal, PQ; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Georgina was predeceased by her husband, Dilas Bertin in 1982; a son, Donald Bertin in 1996; a granddaughter, Jill Young; a great grandson, Shane Shawanamash; four sisters, Isabel Callaghan, Clarinda Parker, Rita Bellanger and Doris Parker. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Simon and St. Jude Church, 199 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at 11 am with Father Bill Brennan officiating.
