PERLEY, DOUGLAS ALLEN The passing of Douglas "Doug" Allen Perley of Penniac, NB, husband of the late Harriet (Hunter) Perley occurred on Monday, August 31, 2009 at his home. Born on May 21, 1936, he was the son of the late George and Marguerite (Tomilson) Perley. He was a long time mechanic for Bemrose and Kilburn and was a woodsman. Doug loved to fish and hunt, he spent many long days on the Nashwaak fishing salmon. Doug was loved by his children and will be greatly missed by his family. Doug is survived by his daughters, Sherry (Richard) Stewart and Wendy (Royce) Boies; sons, Ricky (Shelly Ginson) Perley, Greg (Sandra) Perley and Jody (Lisa) Perley; grandchildren, Julie, Joel, Jeremy, Kristy, Matthew, Sacha, Travis, Ryan, George, Kirk, Jacob and Devin; eight great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth (Bruce) Campbell of Sue Ste. Marie and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Douglas was predeceased by his grandchildren, Steven Stewart, Sarah and Jordan Perley; brother, Gary (Mary) Perley. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 10:30 am.
