POTVIN, EMILE JOSEPH The passing of Emile Joseph Potvin of Fredericton, NB, husband of Fabienne (Charbonneau) Potvin occurred on Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 at home. Born on June 26th, 1932 in Ottawa, ON, he was the son of the late Maxime and Valeda (Lessard) Potvin. In addition to his wife, Emile is survived by son, Richard (Denise) Potvin of Moncton, NB; daughter, Diane (Dave) Ward of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Stephanie Ward, Mathieu Potvin, Nicholas Ward, Kayla Potvin and Kendra Potvin; sisters, Jeanne Laviolette of Masham, PQ, Pierrette (Bernard) Navion of Ottawa, ON and Madeleine Brousseau of Ottawa, ON; brothers, Leo (Jeanna) Potvin of Gatineau, PQ and Ronald (Lise) Potvin of Orleans, ON and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jean-Paul Potvin. A Funeral Mass will take place at Ste. Anne-des-Pays-Bas on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at 12 noon with Father Donald Savoie as celebrant.
