MCGARVIE, GWENDOLYN "GWEN" URSULA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Ursula McGarvie quietly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thurs. September 10th, 2009. Born on June 24th, 1921 in Campbellton, NB. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Anne (Travers) Vye. Survived by her loving husband and long time partner Charles McGarvie; her children who adored her Alwyn McGarvie (Ann Everett) of Lower Queensbury, Pamela Breau (Don) of Shediac, NB, Stephen McGarvie (Agnes Chessie) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Ben McGarvie, Andrea McGarvie, Jason Budovitch, Amy Feldman, Tye McGarvie and Lucas McGarvie; their mother, Marsha McGarvie; step grandchildren, Denny Breau, Caroline and Patrick Sheehan, great grandchild, Cally Feldman; one brother, Austin Vye; son in law Mitchell Budovitch of Fredericton. Predeceased by her parents; one daughter Carolyn Budovitch; three brothers, Alwyn, Winston and Lewellyn Vye; one sister, Inez Adams. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, September 13th, 2009 from 5-8 pm. The funeral service will be held in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Doug Blaikie officiating. Interment will be in the Mactaquac Baptist Church Cemetery.
