RICHARD JOSEPH O'HARA
O'HARA, RICHARD JOSEPH The passing of Richard Joseph O'Hara of Red Rock "Stanley", NB occurred on Thursday, September 10th, 2009 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home. Born on October 3rd, 1929 in Welsford, NB he was the son of the late Alton and Linna (Quigg) O'Hara. He was a teacher at St. Thomas University and in the school system. Richard was also an inspector of Campbell's Soup Company. He was gifted with music and had an ability to play most instruments including the violin, piano and drums. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. Richard is survived by his sisters, Anne and Mary B. O'Hara and Greta Murphy; brothers, Paul, Floyd, Eugene, Edward, Alton, Lynn, Michael and Patrick and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brothers, John Edward, Carl, Henry and Robert; special aunt, sister Mary "Lawrence" Quigg. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14th, 2009 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic, Stanley NB, from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Stanley, NB on Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 at 2 pm with Father Aaron Knox as celebrant.
