NEWMAN, KATHLEEN "KAY" ANN The passing of Kathleen "Kay" Ann Newman of Fredericton, NB wife of Henry Newman occurred on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 28, 1931 in Lower Hainesville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Poulin) Webb. She was a former Nurse's Aid at York Manor Nursing Home. Kay enjoyed making quilts, camping, fishing and hunting. In addition to her husband, Henry, Kay is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Carson, Valerie Nicholls (Anthony) both of Fredericton, NB, Viola Archer (Micheal) of Stanley, NB and Melody Decker (Boyd) of Fort McMurray, AB; sons, Carl (Norma) of Crabbe Mountain, NB, Richard (Cathy) of Hartland, NB, Edison (Paulette) of Fredericton, NB, Robin of Mainstream, NB and Calvin (Wendy) of Crabbe Mountain, NB; numerous and loved grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Bright (Denny) of Lower Hainesville, NB, Evangeline Walton (Wesley) of Hartland, NB and Eva Morehouse (Buddy) of Lower Hainesville, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents; she was predeceased by her sister, Anita; and brothers, Richard, Patrick and Paul. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11 am with Pastor Peter Moore. Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery.
