MACQUARRIE, BETTY IRENE Betty I. MacQuarrie of Harvey, NB passed away September 27, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Betty was born in Chipman, NB, a daughter of the late Phillip and Bessie (McCordick) McGee. She is survived by a daughter, Marta MacQuarrie (Kathy) of Fredericton, NB; a son, David MacQuarrie, Oakville, Ontario; two granddaughters, Morgan MacQuarrie, Berlin, Germany and Sarah MacQuarrie, Ontario; a sister-in-law, Joyce Michael (Glynn), Ottawa, Ontario; two nieces, Kathy Blaney (Steve), Mississauga, Ontario and Karen VanLeeuwen (Nick), North Carolina and a special cousin, Dawn Smith, Moncton, NB In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, L. Girvan MacQuarrie in 2006. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 2 pm. with Pastor Doug Seely officiating. Interment will follow at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
