COTE, NOEL It is with great sadness the family of Noel Cote announce her sudden passing in Edmonton, Alberta on September 11, 2009 at the age of 49. Noel is survived by her husband, Rick Shaw and her two sons, Richard Jr. and Michael. Her five brothers, Raymond (Nancy), Paul (Sharon), Andre (Sandra), David (Jeanette) and Daryl (Sandra); her two sisters, Collette Cote and Colleen Agnew (Robert); close friend, Laura Bye; and several nieces and nephews. Noel was predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Viola Cote; a brother, Hugh-Garfield; and a sister, Michelle. A private funeral was held in Edmonton, Alberta. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Noel's name be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Noel's greatest passion was always her children. She was an avid gardener and always there to give a hand up at the soup kitchens and homeless shelters. Her gentle spirit and compassion for those less fortunate will be greatly missed. Our baby sister will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
