CURTIS, MARY ELAINE The passing of Mary Elaine Curtis of Douglas, NB, wife of Eldon Curtis occurred on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 25, 1950 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Leona (Duguay) Gaudet. She retired as a Registered Nurses Assistant from York Manor Nursing Home and then operated her own special care home. Mary enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilting. In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her daughters, Michelle Curtis and Denise (Adam) Ramsay; son, Michael Curtis both of Fredericton, NB; chosen daughter, Patty Kightley; granddaughter, Megan; chosen grandchildren, Emily and Jessica Ramsay, Joshua and Jasmine Kightley; sister, Shirley Elliott; brother, Gerald Gaudet both of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews.
