NYE, NOREEN ELIZABETH The passing of Noreen E. Nye of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on October 24, 2009. She was 72. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Clara (Collings) Alkern. Noreen worked at both the Victoria Public and Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospitals. She is survived by a daughter, Debra Turner (Chris) of Charters Settlement; two grandchildren, Meisha (Mike) of Nova Scotia and Dustin of Charters Settlement; great grandchild, Zoë of Nova Scotia. Noreen had requested that no visitation or formal funeral service be held and her wishes will be respected. Cremation has taken place.
