CAISSIE, EDMOND CYRIL Edmond C. Caissie of Cork, NB passed away October 26, 2009 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Edmond was born in Rogersville, NB in 1935, a son of the late Alphonse and Leona (Doiron) Caissie. He is survived by his wife, Mabel M. J. (Russell) Caissie; his children, Maurice Caissie (Maryanna), Yoho Lake, NB, Raymond Caissie (Terri), Cork, NB, Lorraine Caissie, Cork, NB, Carol Gillet (Ronald), Cork, NB, Danny Caissie (Karen), Cork, NB and Terry Caissie (Mary), Saint John, NB; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Caissie (Florence), Milltown, NB; two sisters, Alphonsine Poirier, St. Stephen, NB and Florine Russell, Blacks Harbour, NB; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cork, NB on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 11 am by Rev. David Martin. Interment will follow in Cork Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Naomi Gillet, Brittany Caissie, Vanessa Caissie, Emma Caissie, Josh Reid, Nathan Caissie, Juan Pernalete, Lucas Caissie, Roger Russell, Darren Austin and Brent Gallagher. Active pallbearers will be Edmond Gillet, Nicholas Gillet, Mitchell Caissie, Bradley Caissie, Matthew Caissie and Joshua Caissie.
