
RALPH B. - WILSON
WILSON, RALPH B. - 1932 - 2009 Ralph Byron Wilson of Woodstock, NB passed away peacefully, October 27th, at the age of 77. He was born January 2, 1932 at Hartford, Carleton County, NB. Ralph was one of four children born to the late William and Eva (Bell) Wilson. A well respected Woodstock business man, Ralph was the owner-operator of Ralph's Texaco for many years. He also served on Woodstock Town Council for several years, serving one term as deputy mayor. Ralph was also an honorary lifetime member of the Woodstock Elks Club and a longtime member of the Woodstock Lions Club. In his retirement Ralph's favorite pastime was vegetable gardening. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Fay (Hamilton) Wilson, as well as his son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Sharon of Harvey Lake, NB. He is also survived by a sister, Faye (Norval) Kenney of Mt. Pleasant, NB; and brother, Roy A. (Sybil) Wilson of Woodstock, NB; sister-in law, Betty Wilson of Woostock, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his brother, Harry. Visitation at The Culberson Funeral Home 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, New Brunswick on Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral services to be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 am from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Main Street, Woodstock N.B with Ven Walter Williams officiating. Interment to follow at the Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Lower Woodstock, NB If so desired, donations can be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church or the Canadian Cancer Society or the donors choice and would be appreciated by the family.
