RILLIE, DOROTHY MAGDALEN (KYDD) Dorothy Magdalen (Kydd) Rillie, 90 died peacefully at Parkland At The Lakes nursing home in Dartmouth, NS, October 31, 2009. Born in Montreal on May 23, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Amy and Thomas Kydd. Dorothy graduated from McGill University in 1940. She married James Alexander Rillie in 1943. She taught at schools in Montreal, Iona Elementary, Westmount and Wager until 1970. After moving to Fredericton with Jim in 1970, she enjoyed retirement, golfing, travelling and volunteering at the Fredericton hospital. Dorothy was a lively, intelligent, humorous and engaged personality. She will be missed by surviving family children, Jim (Maisie Kelland), Elaine (Stephen Crites); and grandchildren, Claire and Andrew. By request there will be no funeral.
