HUNTER, MELANIE JILL The passing of Melanie Jill Hunter of Stanley, NB, much loved daughter of Manzer and Cindy (Storey) Hunter occurred on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on September 29, 1979 in Fredericton, NB. Melanie loved to sing, especially Sunday Night Karaoke. She also enjoyed the computer and playing Rock Band. In addition to her parents, Melanie is survived by her maternal grandparents, Dolores Hill and Ray Storey; paternal step grandmother, Sylvia Hunter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Melanie was predeceased by her brother, Timothy; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Violet Hunter; maternal step grandfather, Graham Hill. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. George Feenstra officiating. Interment will take place in Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery.
