McKINNEY, GERTRUDE CHRISTINA The death of Gertrude C. (Murphy) McKinney, wife of the late Aubrey McKinney occurred on November 3, 2009 at Sunbury Manor Apartments, Oromocto. Born in Brown's Flat, New Brunswick on May 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Edith (Francis) and Edward Murphy. Mrs. McKinney was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Lower Jemseg, as well as being a member of the A.C.W. She lived in Lower Jemseg from 1953 - 1995. She is survived by her son, Glendon McKinney of Fredericton; brother, Ronald Murphy of Central Greenwich; two sisters, Leona Arsenault of Saint John West, and Etta Hector and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Lower Jemseg on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow at the Lions Club Hall, Jemseg. By request there will be no visitation. There will be a private interment in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Lower Jemseg.
