BROOKS, CHRISTINA MADELINE Christina M. Brooks of Woodstock, NB passed away November 13, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Christina was born in 1934 in Southampton, NB, a daughter of the late Frank and Violet (Wright) Cronkhite. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Donald Kerr; her children, Cheryl Dooley (Bob), Fredericton, NB, Paul Brooks (Sandra), Southampton, NB, LeRoy Brooks, Halifax, NS and Dennis Brooks (Darlene), North- ampton, NB; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two step-daughters, Louise Davenport, Woodstock, NB and Rena Pike (Dwayne), Jacksonville, NB; two step-sons, Wade Kerr (Carolann), Grafton, NB and Arthur Kerr (Bonnie), Beardsley Road, NB; three sisters, Phylena Drost (George), British Columbia, Miriam Drost, Southampton and Myrtle Cronkhite, Royal Road, NB; a brother Deverne Cronkhite, Stanley, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Christina was predeceased by her first husband, Burtrum Brooks, a grandson, Justin Brooks, a sister Nina Cronkhite and brothers Arleigh, Frankie, Darrell and Paul Cronkhite. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. Interment will follow at Lenentine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Trevor Brooks, Tommy Brooks, Brady Brooks, step-sons Arthur Kerr and Wade Kerr and son-in-law, Bob Dooley.
