BAKER, MARY Mary Baker (nee Franklin); Formerly of Woodstock, NB, It is with a sense of joy and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother to her Heavenly Home on Monday November 15, 2009 in her 99th year at Leisureworld Care Giving Centre in Elmira, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Oscar Sharpe (1994) and Ransford (Kidd) Baker (1992). Lovingly remembered by her daughters Oleda (Lin) McGuire, Nackawic N.B.; Ruth (Melvin) Kurt, West Montrose, ON, Deannie Long, Houlton, Me., her son Gerald Sharpe, Nfld. and her step daughter Bonnie (Malcolm) Demerchant, Elora, ON. She was the proud grandmother of three generations of grandchildren; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Also remembered by her sister Grace (Edison) Smith and her brother Eugene (Mary) both of Ontario; her daughters-in-law Shirley and Stella of Woodstock, N.B. and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Pearl (Grant) Franklin, her son Ralph Sharpe of Woodstock N.B., her sisters Ada (Baker), Edna (Baker), her brother Hollis, her grandson Keith Kurt and granddaughter Jane (McConnell) Olmstead. Visitation will take place at Robert Ruggle Funeral Home Ltd., (formerly David MacLeod Funeral Home) 617 King St. N. Waterloo on Wednesday November 18, 2009 from 10am till the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 11am with Rev. Dr. Bruce Sweet officiating. Reception immediately following the service.
