SCOTT, CYRIL LESLIE GARFIELD Cyril L. G. Scott of Upper Hainesville, NB passed away November 21, 2009 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Cyril was born at Tower Hill, St. Stephen, NB in 1936, a son of the late Ronald and Georgina (Hall) Scott. He was raised in the home of the late Harry and Edna (Stairs) Bradley at Maple Ridge, NB. Cyril was an associate member of the Millville Branch 59, Royal Canadian Legion and the New Brunswick Antique Auto Club and was associated with the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Bessie (Wallace Sproull) Scott; his children, David Scott, Hamilton, Ontario, Brian Scott (Susan), Edmonton, AB, Lori Scott, Ninette, Manitoba and Allan Scott (Sandra), Hamilton, Ontario; four grandchildren, Crystal, Leah, Christine and Victoria; two great grandsons, Alex and Tommy; his step-children, Grace Pike (Waldo), Swana Scott (David), Wilma Gilchrist (Ian), Melbourne Sproull (Dale) and Jacqueline Sproull (Mike); a brother-in-law, Reg Paul; members of the Bradley family, Arnold, Alfred, Ivan and Eugene Bradley and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Cyril was predeceased by his first wife Mary (Dempsey) Scott and a sister , Juanita Paul and members of the Bradley family, Garnet, Jennie, Phyllis, Anna, Cora, Lorne and Alta. Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Derek Langille officiating. Interment will be later in Burlington, Ontario.
