MORRIS, GLENYS The death of Glenys Madeline Morris of Fredericton, formerly of Halifax, occurred on Saturday, November 21st, 2009. Born 1914 in Wales, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Margaret (Cound) Edger. She was predeceased by her husband, William Morris. She is survived by two daughters: Lynn Brooks of Tantallon, N.S., and Christine (Paddy Gregg) of Fredericton and five grandchildren: Sarah, Andrew; Jane, Kate and William. Known to everyone as Glen, she worked for many years at Mills Brothers in Halifax where she was a buyer and in sales. Although she was almost totally blind later in life, she never lost her love of long walks and the company of friends. She was devoted to her family. Arrangements are being handled by McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home in Fredericton. Following cremation, a private family interment will take place in Halifax.
