HAZELWOOD, REVEREND BARBARA MAY Peacefully surrounded by her family at Parkwood Hospital, London on Monday, November 23, 2009 Reverend Barbara May Hazelwood of London in her 83rd year, went to be with her Lord. Beloved daughter of the late Flossie and Virchie Hazelwood. Cherished sister of Ralph F. Hazelwood and his wife Shirley of London. Predeceased by her brother Ross Hazelwood Sr. Dear sister-in-law of Joyce of London. Longtime cherished friend of Alma Cox and her family. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews: Ross Jr. (Karen), Sharon, Wayne, Gary (Emily), Karen (Al), Kirk (Susan), Dana (Julie) and her many great-nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara became a nurse in 1949 and nursed across Canada, and in 1988 retired as the Director of Nursing at Parkwood Hospital. The family would like to thank Reverend Terry Mowat, the staff at Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care, CCAC and her many friends for their care and support. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 7 to 9pm and Thursday, November 26, 2009 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London (1-877-248-7186). The funeral service will be conducted at the London Free Methodist Church, 402 Commissioners Road West, London on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 11:00 am with Reverend Terry Mowat officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.
