MACFARLANE, JEAN CAROL The death of Jean Carol MacFarlane of Minto, NB occurred Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Lee and Bessie (Miller) MacFarlane. Jean was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and past President of Branch #12, Minto. While she loved the legion, she enjoyed traveling with her life long travel buddies, was an avid cribbage, bridge and dart player, enjoyed fishing and going to camp. A member of Saint Michael and All Angel's Anglican Church, Minto, very active in her community, A very special thank you to her many good friends and family. Survived by a brother, Russell MacFarlane of Victoria, BC; nieces, Donna, Patsy, and Barbara all from BC; sister in law, Vivian Helen MacFarlane of Edmunston, NB; nieces and nephews, David (Martha), Bobby (Rinette), Rhonda (David) and Lynn (Roger) all from NB. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by brothers, Rod, Arnold and Don. In keeping with Jean's wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 10th, 2009 from Saint Michael and All Angel's Anglican Church, Minto.
