ANNETTA LOUISE O'LEARY

O'LEARY, ANNETTA LOUISE It is with great sadness that the family of Annetta O'Leary announces her peaceful passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, December 11th, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Alice Earle of Kingston, NB, born October 17th, 1933. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Herb of Beaver Dam, son, Richard (Ann) of Kingston and daughter, Susan Johnson (Donnie) of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, whom she adored, Jeremy Johnson (Chelsea) of Quispamsis, David Johnson (Kate Wagner) of Fredericton, Jason, Ashley and Andrew O'Leary of Kingston; two loving great-grandchildren, Jasper and Liv and a sister, Elinor Hughes of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Annetta spent many of her earlier years involved and dedicated to the Brownies and Girl Guides of Canada and loved every moment of it. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Nasonworth. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, knitting, quilting, gardening and travelling, but most of all, loved life and treasured her time she spent with her family whom she cherished. She was the most loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that anyone could have been so fortunate to have had. She fought a long, hard, courageous battle with cancer for 30 years with strength and determination. Her warmth, love and generosity will live in our hearts forever. There will be no visitation by Annetta's request. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Nasonworth with Rev. Bruce McKenna officiating. Interment at a later date. Donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Church, Palliative Care Unit, Cancer Society or charity of the donor's choice. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Doctors Tom and Carolyn Barry and the extra kindness, compassion and care we received from all the amazing nurses and doctors and volunteers of Palliative Care. Many thanks to all our family and many friends who kept us company and gave us their comfort and support during our hospital stay. Arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam's Funeral Home.
