In loving memory of Joseph Freeman McKinnon, 68, who passed away Monday, April 28, 2008, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, Ont., after a short illness, surrounded by family and friends. Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Buddy and Margaret McKinnon. He was employed with Devco for over 20 years. He was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Bruins. He was a personal friend of Captain M. He is survived by siblings, Connie (Ross) MacLeod, Anthony (Jeanette), Margaret Ann (Gaye Desveaux), all of New Waterford, Dougie (Denise) and Christina (Clifford) Durdle, both of Toronto, Sharon Campbell and Johnnie, both of Levack, Ont.; special sister-in-law, Sandra Milley, Mira. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, David and Timmy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 8 at 11 a.m. in the Parish of St. Leonard’s/Mount Carmel Church, New Waterford. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
