WILLIAMS, DOROTHY (DODY) MAY (HARRIS) It is with sadness that the family of Dorothy Williams announce her passing on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the Oromocto Public Hospital at the age of 76. She was born in Tracy on January 23, 1933, the daughter of the late James Harris and Pearl (Nason) (Harris) Phillips. Dody is survived by her husband Arthur, of 54 years; five daughters: Kathy McLaughlin (Bob), Janie Golden (Galen), Vicky Mott (Raymond), Gale Golding (Steven), Donna Golden (Lewis) all of Tracy; two sons: Tom of Tracy and James (Shelley) of Thunder Bay, Ont.; a loving sister Marg Boyle of Tracy; sister-in-law Dot Harris of Fredericton Junction; 13 grandchildren: Jason and Michael McLaughlin, Andrew, Ashley and Amy Williams, Sheena, Brett and Devin Golden, Philip Mott, Emily and Lindsay Golding, Sarah Williams and Christopher Golden; a special niece Bev MacArthur, several nieces and nephews. Dody was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church, Club 65 and was a home maker to her family. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, gardening and knitting. She is predeceased by one brother Bob Harris. Relatives and friends are invited to the Tracy United Baptist Church Family Centre for visitations on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be from the Tracy United Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. James Harrison officiating. Interment will be in the Tracy Baptist Cemetery, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, you may express your sympathy by making a donation to the Tracy United Baptist Church, Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.
