COWAN, BRIAN DENNIS It is with great sadness the family of Brian Cowan announce his passing at his residence in Fredericton on Monday, January 4th, 2010 after a long, courageous battle with illness. He was born November 4th, 1946 in Ontario to the late Harry and Lillian Cowan. He is survived by his son, Nathan; his former wife and best friend, Sharon; his sister, Sandra MacLennan (John); his brother, Bill Cowan; nieces, Melissa, Tiffany and Sara and one nephew, Benjie. Brian was known for his generous heart, especially to those who were needy and he loved life, even through his lengthy period of illness. A hard worker by nature, Brian and Sharon built their successful business, the Fredericton Factory Carpet Outlet Ltd. with passion and dedication. He genuinely cared and appreciated his customers, many of them becoming close friends. He will be greatly missed by all. By request, there will be no visitation or service. Sharon and Nathan will accept visitors to Sharon's home, 325 Victoria Street, Unit D in Fredericton, on Friday, January 8th, 2010 from 2 to 8 pm.
