GALLANT, ANNIE ELIZABETH (STEWART) We the family are sad to announce the passing of Annie Elizabeth (Stewart) Gallant of Minto, NB which occurred Friday, January 8, 2010 at the age of 84 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital. Born in North Forks, NB, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Amy (Fairley) Stewart. Annie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her family, she enjoyed writing poetry, cooking and spending time at her cottage on Grand Lake. Survived by her loving husband Edward of 60 years, her children; Mary Ann Leblanc (Alphonse) of Chipman, NB, Paul Gallant (Linda) of Cumberland Bay, NB, Richard Gallant (Brenda) of Minto, NB, Susan Gillies (Jerry) of Scotchtown, NB, Noel Gallant (Jeannie) of Chipman, NB and Barry Gallant (Tina) of Noonan, NB; 15 grandchildren, Dawn, Jan, Amanda, Chris, Pamela, Nolan (Tracy), Lacey, Matthew, Dean, Amelia, Brett, Emma, Scott, Brianne and Kelsey; 3 great grandchildren, Natacha, Courtney and Connor; 2 brothers, Russell of French Village, NB and Ralph (Billy) in Midlands, NB; a sister, Eunice Bailey in Minto, NB; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by a son Theodore; 5 brothers, John, Peter, Joe, Roy and George; 2 sisters, Stella and Dorothy; son in law, Brian Gillies. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home with visiting on Saturday evening from 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place 4:00PM, Sunday, January 10, 2010 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Internment will take place in Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish donations made to the Ostomy Society of NB would be appreciated by the family. www.mintofh.com
