PETERSON, HAL GAYELENE The passing of Hal Gayelene Peterson of McGivney, NB, husband of Edna (Collins) Peterson occurred on Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 2, 1952 in McGivney, NB, he was the son of the late James and Fern (Greer) Peterson. Hal was a Lineman with E. Holland Contracting Incorporated. In addition to his wife, Hal is survived by his daughter, Amanda Arsenault of Rexton, NB; step daughter, Shannon Duff (Jimmy) of McGivney, NB; sons, Shawn Peterson (Lori) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, Jarred Peterson and Quinn Peterson both of McGivney, NB; four grandchildren; sister, Eileen Ross (Doug) of Lincoln, NB; brothers, Claude Peterson (Bonnie) and Bliss Peterson (Shirley) both of McGivney, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Hal was predeceased by his sisters, Mazie Fairley, Marie and Paulette Peterson, Donna Hawes; brothers, Eugene, Allen and James Peterson; step great granddaughter, Ariana Duff Lyons. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
