JOHNSTON, WILLIAM (BILL) ROBERT E. February 2, 1948-January 29, 2010 Bill passed away at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on January 29, 2010 as the result of a stroke. Surrounded by his family, he died peacefully. He was born in Fredericton on February 2, 1948 at the Victoria Public Hospital, eldest son of the late Alexander and Jane (Jeffery) Johnston of Taymouth, NB. Bill attended school in Taymouth and spend his entire life there except for a short stint in Australia. He loved his small rural community where he enjoyed his many friends and family. He was self employed businessman. Bill is survived by a sister, Judy Ross (Michael) of Boiestown, a brother, Phillip (Adrienne) of Moncton, five nephews, Corey (Zandra) Ross Prince George, BC; Jeremy (Lisa) Ross, Fredericton; Adam (Stephanie Alchorn) Ross, Rusagonis; Patrick Johnston, Moncton; Reagan Johnston, Grand Prairie, AB. several grand nieces/nephews, and his beloved dog "Mickford". Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home, 160 York St. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at McAdam's Funeral Chapel Rev. Bob Jones will officiate.
