FRANCIS, JUDY ALICE At the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, Judy A. Francis of Kingsclear First Nation, NB passed away on February 3rd, 2010 with her family by her side. She was 58. Born in Middletown, Conneticut USA, she was a daughter of Ruth (Heil) Sullivan of Conneticut and the late John Heil Sr.. Predeceased also by her step father Eugene Sullivan. Judy was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Kingsclear and employed at the Kingsclear First Nation as a Clerk with Social Assistance. She was involved and helped with many events through the community over the past 30 years. Judy enjoyed walking and foremost the love she had gardening. Survived by her husband David Gregory Francis Sr.; daughter Francine Elizabeth Francis of Kingsclear; son David Gregory Francis Jr. (Duska Adams) of Perth; grandchild MacKenzie; adopted grandchildren Gregory, Hunter, Alyssa, Tyson, and Tyrell; sister Jacqueline Tierney (Danny) of East Adam, USA; brothers John Heil Jr.(Toni) of New Jersey, James Heil (Gail) of East Adam, USA; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 6th, 2010 at 11:00 am from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Kingsclear with Father Don Savoie officiating assisted by Father David Martin. Interment at a later date. Donations in the memory of Judy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the Training Center, Chapel Road.
