MELVIN, JERET R. - The death of Jeret Ross Melvin of 6 Sunview Drive, Saint John East, occurred on Friday morning December 28th 2001 at the Saint John Regional Hospital unexpectedly. Jeret was born in Saint John on February 1st, 1984. Son of Ross L. and Diana M. (Collrin) Melvin and was a grade eleven student at Simonds High School and was a Co-op Student with Larry's Welding and a part-time employee at the Irving convenience store on Loch Lomond Road. Jeret will be missed by his many friends and is survived by his parents, his brother Ryan Anthony and his sister, Erica Lynn, his grandparents Leroy and Gerry Collrin and Darrel Melvin, his great grandmother Bertha Hatfield and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well as, his girlfriend Aleisha Dow. He was predeceased by his grandmother Mary Mahoney. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506 634-7424) with visiting Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held from Silver Falls United Church, Loch Lomond Rd. on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Tom Robinson will officiate.
