83, North Sydney I t is with great sadness the family announce the death of their loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Dorothy Mae Musgrave, age 83, a resident of Beacon Crescent, on Monday, May 12, 2008, at the Northside General Hospital. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Roy and Marjorie (Waterfield) Dunstan. She was born in Saint John, N.B., but grew up in Halifax and later moved to North Sydney after her marriage to the late John Peter Musgrave. A member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, North Sydney, she is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Dorothy was an avid bingo player and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Patsy MacDonald, Leroy (Georgie) Musgrave, both of North Sydney, and Janet (Ralph) Ivey, Sydney Mines; her grandchildren, Lori, John, Tanya, Crystal, Erica, Amanda, Emily and Aaron, and two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Justin. She was predeceased by her husband, John Musgrave, two sisters, Jean Eisan and Ellen Bennett. There will be no visitation. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney, with Rev. Gloria McClure-Fraser officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney.
