87, Balls Creek It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerome Nadeau of Frenchvale Road, Balls Creek, which occurred Friday, May, 16, 2008, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Jerome was born in the Magdalen Islands Islands and came to Sydney to work at the Steel Plant later working for Donmar Farm. He lived with his sister, Germaine and then after her passing with Donald and Peggy Rankin. He is survived by nephews, Don Burt, Clem Burt and families and the Rankin Family. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 in St. Mary’s Church, Frenchvale with Fr. Paul Abbass officiating.
