1928-2008 It is with deep sorrow, we the family of brother Ernest and sister-in-law Olive, regret to announce the passing of Ernie who passed away May 16, 2008, and his loving wife Olive, who passed away May 17, 2008. Ernie and Olive were married 58 years. Ernie was born in Sydney Mines, N.S., and Olive was born in Ontario. Ernie was the son of the late Chesley King and Annie (Bragg) Riddle. Olive was the daughter of the late Robert and Millie (Oppertshauser) Bartley. They were the loving parents of Eileen (Ross) Jessop, Kitchener, Ont., Wendy (Dane) Roberts, Vero Beach, Fla., and Bob (Chris) King, Brantford, Ont. They were the loving grandparents of Ryan, Brett, Eric Jessop and Zachery Roberts. Ernie was a special brother to Peg Fifield, Lower Sackville, N.S., Charles (Shirley), New Hamburge, Ont., Elizabeth Weaver, Dartmouth, N.S., Josephine Aubry, Margaret (Don) Young and Phyllis Hillier, all of Sydney Mines, N.S. Ernie was predeceased by three brothers, Harry, Chesley and Percy and two brothers in infancy, Harold and David. Olive was predeceased by Marie, Karl, Hazel, Jack, Eileen, Ward, Stewart, Myrtle and Bruce. Ernie and Olive will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family received relatives and friends at Henery Walser Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
