77, Orchard Terrace Theresa V. Holic of Antigonish, passed away on June 2, 2008, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Sydney Mines, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (MacKinnon) MacKeigan. Theresa was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an Avon representative for many years. She was an active volunteer for N.S. Drug Dependency and was the recipient of a Volunteer of the Year Award. She was a CWL member and member of Arras Branch No. 59, Royal Canadian Legion auxiliary. Theresa was an avid card player and a member of Club 60, Antigonish. She is survived by her only daughter, Daniela (Mike) MacDonald, Antigonish; sisters, Rodena Moore, Sydney, Florence Quinney, Landolpha, Boston; brother, Martin (Jessie) MacKeigan, Sydney Mines; and six grandchildren, Aaron, Daniel, Jordan, Sara, Zachery and Sean. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel and brother, Albert. Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. The remains will be transferred to G.R. Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines, Wednesday, where they will rest from 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 3, in Immaculate Conception Church, Sydney Mines, with Rev. Hugh MacNeil presiding. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross. Online condolences may be sent to www.clcurry.com.
