58, Chapel Island It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law , aunt, great aunt, godmother and especially our friend, Margaret “ Honey” of Chapel Island, who passed away peacefully on June 4, 2008 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born on June 13, 1949 in Chapel Island, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Agnes (Marshall) Nicholas. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary; special grand-sons, Roderick (little Rod), Mathew Gerald, and John Michael Johnson and special son, Andre, all of Chapel Island; sons, Ellery Buck (Theresa), Chapel Island, Raymond (Diane), Ontario; daughter, Lori (Roddie) Johnson; son, Steven (Sheri) Levesque, both of Chapel Island; grandchildren, Buck Kyle Levesque, Mariah Carey Levesque, Nicole Marie Johnson, Phillip Andrew Johnson, Elizabeth Ann Johnson, Caleb Richard Levesque, Chloe Ann Levesque, Hailey Vanessa Levesque; brothers, Peter Tom Francis, Charles Michael (Rose) Nicholas; sisters, Lillian E. Marshall (Stevo), Mary Catherine Nicholas (Clifford), Hazel Googoo (Ryan), Mary Katrina Nicholas, Marlyn Nicholas, Rose Marie Nicholas (Byron), Marion Nicholas (Allan); godchildren, Harriet Battiste, Frances (Francho) Nicholas, Cynthia Francis, and Thomas Marshall and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Maureen Levesque; grandparents, Charles and Mary Ann (Francis) Marshall, Michael and Helen (Johnson) Nicholas; goddaughter, Margaret Ann Nicholas. Visitation will be held at her residence, 43 Old Chapel Island Road, Chapel Island on Saturday after 2 p.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Margaret will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 11 a.m in the Immaculate Conception Church, Barra Head, with Rev. Barrett Clare Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, Barra Head. Memorial Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
