52 years old, passed away at home in Cull's Harbour, Saturday, June 28, 2008. He was predeceased by his parents James and Edna (Nichols) Dobson. Left with loving memories are his wife of 26 years Claudine (Burgess) and son David; brothers: Jim (Esther), P.E.I., Douglas (Linea), Niagara Falls and Rick (Mary), Sydney; twelve nephews and nieces and a large circle of relatives and friends. David was employed with Parks Canada at Terra Nova National Park for 25 years. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd at 2 p.m. at Terra Nova National Park at the Outdoor Theater. In the event of rain, the service will take place in the tent in Newman Sound Day-Use area. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society of Canada in his memory.
