British Columbia It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Richey (Bally), Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Mill’s Memorial Hospital, Terrace, B.C. Howard was born in Sydney, N.S., and was the youngest child of the late Howard Vincent and Jessie (MacSween) Richey. Howard was a mechanic by trade and the owner of West Point Rentals in Terrace for over 30 years. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; son, Douglas (Roylene) Richey; daughters, Katherine (Dan) Mulligan and Danielle Richey; grandchildren, Amelia and Thomas Mulligan and Mason Richey. Dearly missed by his pals, Mittsee and Sophie. Also survived by his sisters, Audrey Matheson, Bev (Parker) MacLeod, Helen Powell, of Sydney N.S., Norma (Raymond) Frost, New Brunswick; brother, Tom (Allie Mae), Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by his parents, brother, Rockie Richey, brothers-in-law, Alex Matheson and Stan Powell. A celebration of Howard’s life was held at the Terrace Arena, June 24, 2008.
