92, Sydney Maisie Dornadic, 92, a resident of Harbourstone Enhanced Care, formerly, MacRae Avenue, Sydney River, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Harbourstone. Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (MacLean) MacLean. In her earlier years, Maisie ran a tailoring/dressmaking shop located on Charlotte Street. She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 12, Sydney. Surviving are her 15 nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Enid Johnstone, Sydney. Maisie was predeceased by her husband, Arsene ‘Dick’ Dornadic and stepbrother, Robert MacLean. Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel, Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday, July 11 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Mills officiating.
