Passed peacefully away at the Miller Centre on July 1, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, Mabel Evelyn Dodd, age 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Brendan (1992). Left with fond and loving memories, her children: David (Betty), Bill (Trish), Sharon (Wilfred), Terry (Ruth-Anne), Colleen (Dennis); grandchildren: Allison, Lisa, Michael, Angela, Megan, Randy, Amanda, Christine, Brendan, Barry, Brittney; great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Kyla, Branden, Tyler, Joshua and Shaundra; sisters: May Goulding and Elsie Rice; sister-in-law Violet Vaughan and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Health Sciences Complex 4 South A and the Palliative Care Unit of the Miller Centre. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. followed by cremation. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
