It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother in the presence of his loving and devoted family on July 1, 2008 at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home after a battle with Alzheimer's, Maxwell Howlett, aged 70 years. Predeceased by his parents, William and Nellie; brother Donald and sister Elizabeth Chafe. Forever loved and remembered by his wife Genevieve (Chaytor); son Barry (Jessica Salas Lugo), Puerto Rico; his two precious grandchildren: Andrew (pop's buddy) and Kelsey (prettiest girl in Mount Pearl) and their mother Jo-anne Hussey, Mount Pearl; daughter Kim (Frank Woodfine Jr.) and her pet babies: Chanel, Diamond and Sidney, Goulds; also leaving to mourn his sisters: Mary Dinn, Goulds, Marge Ward, Goulds, Patricia Longhofer (Jim), Topeka, Kansas and Catherine O'Leary, St. John's; brother-in-law Dick Chafe and sister-in-law Elaine Howlett, Goulds; also Doug Chaytor (Tina), Mount Pearl, Rita Manning (Ed), Torbay, Martina Chaytor (Phil), Mount Pearl and Steve Baldwin, Gander; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, July 4th at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin's Church, Goulds. Cremation to follow.
