Toronto, Ont. Carl Lloyd MacTavish passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, after a valiant fight to recover from emergency surgery. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret Dorothy MacCormack; his three brothers, William (Bill) and W.E. (Sonny), both of Sydney, and Brian, Pickering. He is also remembered by his brother-in-law, Bruce Broderick, Guelph; his four nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur and Ada MacTavish and his sister, Anne Broderick. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and neighbours. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 22 at 2 p.m. at Graceview Presbyterian Church, 588 Renforth Dr., Etobicoke. Arrangements entrusted with Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, Etobicoke.
