BROWN, ROBERT "BERT" - of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Arthurette, passed away at the Mewburn Veterans Center on February 14, 2003. Born in Arthurette on December 9, 1920, he was the son of the late Gordon and Hazel (Babcock) Brown. He leaves behind his wife Helen Brown (Laursen), his daughters Connie Brown of Barrie, ON, Dalice (Robert) Tomlinson of Arthurette, Catherine (Mark) Morrison of Windsor, ON; his son Robert (Rachel) Brown of Edmonton, AB, and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother George Brown. Bert was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #85, of Arthurette. Resting at the Tobique Chapel with visitation on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 2 pm from Tobique Chapel. Rev. Leonard Cousins officiating. Interment in the Arthurette United Baptist Cemetery. A Legion Memorial Service will be held on Monday evening at 7:30 pm from the chapel. Arrangements by Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
