92, Cheticamp Stanley Gaudet, 92, of Foyer Pere Fist Guest Home, Cheticamp, died July 18, 2008, at the guest home. Born in Cheticamp, he was the son of the late Damas and Emma (Poirier) Gaudet. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church, Cheticamp. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving in the Canadian Army. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by everyone who ever knew him. Predeceased by his brother, Joseph Gaudet, two sisters, Julie Muise and Olive AuCoin. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held today (Monday) at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Cheticamp with Fr. Peter LeBlanc officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
