CURRIE, ALDA CHRISTINA (nee MAIR) - Alda died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends in Roxboro, Quebec, on February 19, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband, James Currie (1991) and her brother, Robert Mair (2002). Alda was a loving, caring, compassionate person and will be missed by many people; her children: Bob (Charlotte Yates), Andy (Rose Chan), Mary (John Wood), Stewart, John (Liz Mastroutucci); her seven much loved grandchildren; her siblings: Arlington Mair (Helen), and Kathleen Bursey, sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorna and Dick Hobart, Patricia Currie and Gary Main and Mary Mair; her many nieces and nephews and her community. A Service to celebrate Alda's life will be held at Beaconsfield United Church, Beaconsfield, Quebec at 1 PM, February 24, 2003. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Child Haven, or the V.O.N..
