Passed away July 2, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre, at age 61 years. Junior was predeceased by his parents, Myrtle and Emanuel; sisters: Carol and Dorothy and sister-in-law Mary. Leaving to mourn are his two daughters: Lisa Lake (Frank), Pamela Slaney; four grandchildren: Megan, Ryan, Keisha and Michael; three brothers: Melvin, Harvey (Yvonne), Boyd (Gail); three sisters: Velda Furlong (Jack), Sharon Kelly (Michael), Dale Burke (Webster); and a large number of nieces and nephews. At Junior's request cremation has taken place.
