43, Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Zena Lynn Gilbert. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Glace Bay Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Dolores (Boutilier) Gilbert. Zena graduated from Morrison High School and continued her studies at Cape Breton University. She had a natural aptitude for singing and enjoyed entertaining her friends. Zena is survived by her children, Brandon and Kyle; her brother, Bradley (Kathy), Glace Bay; sisters, Ellen (Rodney) Emslie, Fall River, Lyndsey, Glace Bay; brothers, Tommy, Glace Bay, and Calvin, Halifax. She is also survived by special aunt Linda Aucoin, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by grandparents, Joe and Jennie Gilbert, Jim and Mary Boutilier. Visitation Friday, July 25, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday, July 26, 10 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, Rev.
